Euphotic is a private foundation designed to support small, independent fishermen in the commercial fishing industry.
The foundation is committed to best-practices fishing and thoughtful stewardship of the Pacific Ocean, initially along the California coast from Crescent City to San Diego and, at some point in the foundation’s future, the entire West Coast.
What We Do
The Euphotic Foundation recognizes the invaluable benefits the independent fishing industry brings to local coastal communities by supplying the best sea products to the dining public while also recognizing the need to preserve the ocean’s resources for future generations.
To help keep these stewards of the ocean thriving and serving their communities, Euphotic Foundation will offer support programs to independent fishermen that qualify for financial assistance under the Foundation’s eligibility criteria. The Foundation’s overarching principle is to promote responsible commercial fishing activities on the West Coast by supporting the men and women bringing high quality and sustainable seafood to the public.
How We Do It
The ERGs program provides eligible fishing companies with financial support related to their commercial activity.
Fishing is an unpredictable activity that can bring unfair duress to the family of fishermen. Euphotic offers a financial help to eligible fishermen and their families in time of needs.
Euphotic supports initiatives advocating for a sustainable and responsible commercial fishing, for the protection of our seas and oceans.
