Expenditure Responsibility Grants

The steps to apply for an Expenditure Responsibility Grant (ERG) follow.

1.    Eligibility Form and Initial Application

The first step is to click on the APPLY button below. The link will take you to the Euphotic page on the Submittable platform. You will be asked to complete a brief eligibility questionnaire and, if eligible, an initial application. Once you are determined to be eligible and you complete the application, we will begin our review of your submission. We may contact you for additional information, if necessary.

2.    Background Check and Site Visit 

After we review your application and decide to move forward, we will require a background check. A background check is mandatory when applying for an ERG. Background checks are performed by our partner, Checkr. You will receive an email directly from Checkr with further instructions using the Checkr platform.

If we deem it necessary, we may decide to perform a site visit and meet you in person. Site visits will be administered on a case by case basis and entail touring your boat and docking location.

3.    Final Decision and Disbursement of Funds

When the ERG application is complete with all supporting documentation, ERGs shall be approved or denied within 30 calendar days.Following approval and, if applicable, site visit, you will complete and signan ERG Agreement. Upon signing the ERG Agreement, grant funds will be disbursed within 15 days. You will be required to provide proof the ERG was used to fulfill the purpose stated in your application.
